The SVFD hosted its annual EMS open house on a sunny, warm Saturday afternoon. In addition to the expertly prepared barbecue offerings, the enthusiastic members demonstrated Fire and Rescue techniques such as CPR, vehicle extrication with the "Jaws of Life" and apparatus tours. We look forward to welcoming the community back in October for our annual fire safety week open house.
