The SVFD carpentry team was hard at work today installing sheetrock in the burn house in advance of our annual Open House on Saturday, Oct 14th beginning at 11am. This burn house will be fully furnished and burned in a controlled fashion to demonstrate firefighting techniques and the importance of creating a family evacuation plan.
