Busy day for the SVFD

Since midnight, the SVFD has answered the call 16 times. The majority of our calls have been weather related and we have had to call on our neighbors for 3 of those calls. Our most recent call was originally toned out as a generator fire, but was quickly updated to a structure fire and a 10-75 signal. The structure fire was a 3rd call in district, with our brothers from Mahopac helping out on a wires down and our brothers from Katonah covering an MVA and the structure fire. A hearty thanks goes out to all of our neighbors.

Update: 21 calls completed on October 30th.

Have a happy and safe Halloween.
