Members of the SVFD led by 2443 gave a rousing presentation to the St. Joseph's Women's Club on fire and home safety and proper fire extinguisher use. 2nd assistant Carile began the presentation with a sobering video which demonstrated the progression of a fire underscoring the need to evacuate rapidly at the first sign of fire. After the presentation, the ladies trained on our fire simulator to put out a "real" fire and the weather gods provided the first blue sky that we have seen in over a week.
