On Wednesday July 31st during our weekly drill night members of the SVFD went to the Putnam County Fire Training Center to conduct live fire evolutions. Members utilized the class A burn building to practice stretching hose lines and searching for victims under realistic fire conditions. The SVFD holds formal drills on Monday and Wednesday nights so our Firefighters and EMT's can practice their skills to be as proficient as possible.
