On Saturday December 28th 2019 shortly after 4pm the SVFD was requested to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Route 202 near the entrance to Heritage Hills. Units arrived to find a head on collision between two pickup trucks one hauling a trailer. There were no injuries but a fluid spill was found. SVFD members quickly mitigated the fluid spill and assisted with traffic control while the vehicles were removed. Units operated for approximately an hour before the SVFD was requested for another call.
