It is with deep regret the Somers Volunteer Fire Department announces the passing of Life Member and Ex-Chief Willian Siemerling. Ex-Chief Siemerling joined the SVFD in August of 1959 and served as Chief of Department from 1979 to 1981. Ex-Chief Siemerling passed away on March 8th 2021 after a short illness. Bill will always be remembered for his signature pipe, straightforwardness, and his love of the SVFD. The officers and members of the SVFD extend our condolences to the Siemerling family.
