On Saturday April 19th, the Somers Volunteer Fire Department was asked by our neighbors at the Yorktown Volunteer Fire Department to standby in their headquarters during their annual Installation dinner. Somers Engine 181 and Mohegan Ladder 10 were in Yorktown's firehouse for approximately six hours and responded to one call for a commercial alarm. Once again we are happy to help out our neighbors!
