This past Wednesday night in lieu of our routine weekly drills the Chief’s office hosted a cornhole tournament for SVFD members in appreciation for all of their hard work, especially leading up to our annual inspection The stadium at Lincolndale firehouse was the setting for an epic showdown. 12 teams fiercely competed for the imaginary “Chief’s cup” but in the end team “Hoody” made up of EMS Lieutenant Evan Kader and Probationary Firefighter Richard Blackley were declared the champions. During the event BBQ was provided and prepared with love by future grill-master Engineer Bridget Foley.
