Before 8am Somers Fire responded to an MVA for a car into a tree on Route 202 with Yorktown Volunteer Ambulance Corps, one person was transported with injuries.

Shortly after the SVFD was dispatched for a generator on fire next to a house in the Somers Chase complex. Units arrived and quickly extinguished the fire without any damage to the residence. Units operating for the fire were:

Ladder 48
