This equipment replaced outdated units on Rescue 20 and Engine 188 and is part of our multi-year replacement plan to bring our respiratory protection equipment up to the latest standard. Continuing the multi-year replacement plan the Somers Fire District is working on purchasing an additional 19 airpacks in 2023 to finish the replacement of all of our airpacks.
