SVFD Members participate in annual Muddy Angels Ride

On May 19th, SVFD members participated in the annual National EMS Muddy Angels bike ride. The full ride travels from Boston to Washington, DC. Our members rode a 55 mile leg of the race between Waterbury, CT and Tarrytown, NY with a stop in Sandy Hook, CT. A portion of the ride went through the center of Somers. The event raises money for a National EMS memorial fund for line of duty EMS deaths.
