This ensures that our members are highly trained and proficient in the skills necessary to complete our mission and to serve the public. As pictured, EMS drills include hands-on skills such as patient assessment, splinting, water rescue, use of transfer devices, ambulance operations, and more! Ambulance Engineers are assigned to individual ambulances to ensure NYS Department of Health “Part 800” is completed weekly. Lastly, once a month the Continuing Medical Education (CME) program is provided to our EMTs for their NYS recertification requirements.
