Stop The Bleed teaches skills for civilians to be able to stop and control serious bleeding. These are life saving skills that everyone should be able to perform. The class consists of both PowerPoint and hands-on skills. It is roughly an hour long and attendees earn a certificate upon completion of the class. Last month the SVFD hosted our very first public Stop The Bleed class led by LT. Kader and our EMS members! Be on the lookout for our next public class!
