On Wednesday July 2nd the Somers FD conducted a live burn as part of our training program. For this drill we used both a "pop-up" camper and a car that were donated to us. Members were able to watch the fire growth and behavior while also practicing using hose lines and pumping. Our EMS members also honed their skill on firefighter rehabilitation. The Somers Fire Department is very committed to our ongoing training to provide the best service we can to our residents.
