At approximately 3AM on Monday July 21st Somers FD and EMS was dispatched to Route 100 in the area of Elmer Galloway road for a motor vehicle accident (MVA). Upon arrival units found a single vehicle in the middle of the roadway with severe damage. No occupants were found on the scene so EMS cleared shortly after. Fire units stood by cleaning up debris and assisting with the removal of the vehicle. Route 100 was closed in both directions for the duration and Somers Fire cleared the scene just before 5AM. The New York State Police are investigating.
