On Wednesday afternoon Somers FD and EMS were dispatched to the area of Route 202 and Stone House road for a reported motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival units found one vehicle which had struck a stone wall and overturned. The driver was able to self-extricate himself from the vehicle prior to our arrival and was transported to the hospital by Somers EMS. Somers Fire units remained on scene for approximately an hour for vehicle removal and fluid cleanup.
