At 1525 hours, the SVFD was dispatched to Route 202 & Heritage Hills Dr for the report of a MVA with injuries. Upon arrival, an off duty Heritage Hills security officer/Mohegan VFD member was found in the process of assisting the occupants from the vehicle, which embedded itself in a swampy area next to the road.

The occupants were evaluated by EMS and transported to an area hospital.

The SVFD operated on scene for about an hour.
