At 0848 hrs, the SVFD was dispatched to the report of wires down and burning on route 202 near Todd Rd.

At 0858 hrs, the SVFD was dispatched to the report of a car fire in a parking lot on route 6.

At 0918 hrs, the SVFD was dispatched to an automatic alarm nearby the ongoing operations on route 202.

The SVFD extinguished the car fire with 1000 gallons of water. Route 202 was closed by the SVFD while NYSEG shut off the power and cleared the burning wires. You will notice the new pothole created by the burning wires. The automatic alarm was set off in error. After clearing the car fire, E183 was requested to the scene of the wires down to extinguish a brush fire caused by the burning wires.

The SVFD operated on scene(s) for approximately 2 hours.
