| Today, the Somers Volunteer Fire Department had our Annual Inspection held by the Somers Fire District. We thank our members for their hard work and dedication. They have spent countless hours making sure the apparatus are cleaned and spotless for today’s event.
Engine 181 received a trophy for Best Class A apparatus. Congratulations to Amawalk Fire House for receiving the trophy!
Ambulance 80B5 received a trophy for Best Class B apparatus. Congratulations to Lincolndale Fire House for receiving the trophy!
Fire Lieutenant Steve Jarrett received an award for Fire Member of the Year 2023.
EMS Lieutenant Evan Kader received an award for EMS Member of the Year 2023.
Firefighter Thomas Frankie received an award for Most Improved Member 2023.
EMS Lieutenant Rocco Latella and Firefighter Andrew Frederick both received an award for Most Calls of 2023.
Firefighter Don Spinelli received the Chiefs Award 2023.
