The Somers Fire District recently took delivery of a new 2023 Chevy Tahoe SSV! This vehicle replaced a 2015 Chevy Tahoe. The new tahoe is assigned to our EMS Captain, 8011.

The vehicle was up-fitted by Precision Mobile Electronics. They did an amazing job!

A big thank you to the Somers Fire District Board of Fire Commissioners for their help and funding on this project. The Somers Fire District does a tremendous job ensuring that we have the best equipment possible to accomplish our mission of saving lives and property.

The new fly car allows the senior EMS officer to respond quickly to Emergency Medical calls where crews need assistance and to provide lifesaving patient care.
