SVFD members had a busy and productive weekend! 🚒🔥

From responding to emergency calls🚒🚑, attending the Ossining Inspection🫡, and celebrating our members’ Firefighter 1 graduation🧑‍🚒— to expanding their skills in wildland firefighting🔥.

Some of our members spent the day at Camp Smith for a hands-on Wildland Firefighting class. They gained valuable knowledge during classroom-style training and then headed outdoors to practice digging fire lines alongside New York State Forest Rangers.
