On Wednesday June 3rd we kicked off the 2015 parade season marching in the annual Katonah Fire Department parade. The Katonah parade marks the unofficial start of summer as it is usually the first parade in our local area. Members worked hard cleaning the apparatus and preparing for the parade. This year in Katonah that hard work paid off with Ladder 48 from Somers firehouse winning the trophy for "Best Ladder." Congratulations to everyone that worked so hard on it. The parade was a success and a good time had by all. Next stop is Yorktown at the end of the month.
