🚒 UTV FIRE
Location: DALE STREET
Date/Time: Wednesday, March 27th, 2024 at 6:20 pm
Description: At 6:20 pm, Somers Fire was dispatched to the area of Dale Street for a reported UTV on fire. Car 2443 responded within minutes reporting heavy black smoke in the area. Fire units arrived shortly after the update and quickly extinguished the fire. Units operated for approximately 40 minutes before returning to service.

🚒 REPORTED POSSIBLE STRUCTURE FIRE
Location: 325 Route 100
Date/Time: Wednesday, March 27th, 2024 at 7:05 pm
Description: At 7:05 pm, Somers Fire was dispatched to the Somers Town Shopping Center for smoke coming from the roof. Due to the reported nature of the call and the commercial building, Yorktown FAST was automatically dispatched to the assignment as an additional resource. Engine 183 arrived on location within minutes and reported that there was nothing showing. Additional fire units arrived shortly after and continued to investigate finding it to be ‘good intent.’ Units operated for approximately 40 minutes before returning to service.
