**WATER RESCUE**

Location: Mill Pond

Date/Time: Wednesday, March 5th, 2025 at 6:51 pm

Description: Yesterday, at 6:51 PM Somers Fire and EMS units were dispatched to Mill Pond for a person trapped in their vehicle that was in the water. Upon the arrival of units, the occupant was able to self-extricate out of the vehicle. The occupant was assessed for injuries. The Yorktown Dive team was requested to the scene to help assist with the removal of the car. Units operated for approximately 3 hours before returning to service.
