Last night, at our weekly drill, we continued with the theme of pumping and drafting.

For this drill, we utilized a tanker and portable pond to shuttle water to where it’s required. T16, which carries 3,000 gallons of water and a portable pond, set up in the parking lot of Granite Springs firehouse. Engines 183/185 drafted water from the pond as a source engine, feeding L48. These skills are critical to protecting the large portion of our town which lack fire hydrants.
