Looking to go on more calls and for more training opportunities? Somers Fire/EMS is currently accepting online applications for mutual aid responders.

In July 2022 Somers Fire responded to 66 alarms and Somers EMS responded to 186 calls for service. The SVFD also has at-least 8 firematic drills planned every month and countless standby's.

Somers Fire/EMS continues to be one of the busiest agencies in Westchester County and the area. In total during the year 2021 the SVFD responded to 2,843 calls for service with 692 being fire calls and 2,151 EMS. Also included is 104 Personal Injury Accidents where both Fire and EMS are dispatched.
