| Various surrounding departments participated in this training. The purpose of this drill was to simulate a large scale fire within the Somers Fire District. We practiced shuttling large amounts of water from multiple water sources to the fire scene.
There were a total of 12 tankers shuttling significant amounts of water to the scene from the fill sites. This drill allowed the SVFD and mutual aid departments to practice their skills incase of a large scale fire.
